Research Triangle Park
(RTP) is a public/private,
planned research park. The Park has approximately 1,100 acres for development.
It currently houses more than 100 research and development facilities which
employ over 38,500 Triangle residents. The combined annual salaries in RTP
amount to over $1.2 billion dollars.

Cary is in the heart of the Triangle area of North Carolina, between

rapidly, from 251 in 1980 to 3,644 in 1999. Estimations show the population in
2002 to be around 10,000.
