Research Triangle Park Research Triangle Park (RTP) is a public/private, planned research park. The Park has approximately 1,100 acres for development. It currently houses more than 100 research and development facilities which employ over 38,500 Triangle residents. The combined annual salaries in RTP amount to over $1.2 billion dollars.  

Cary Cary is  in the heart of the Triangle area of North Carolina, between Raleigh and Research Triangle Park. Within 20 minutes of major universities such as Duke, North Carolina State, and the University of North Carolina. Population - 107,221 (October 2003 estimate)  

Raleigh  Raleigh, North Carolina's capital, has the vitality and energy of a major metropolitan area, together with the friendliness and charm of a southern town. Population 276,093 

Apex  Located in southwestern Wake County, Apex combines a relaxing small-town atmosphere with convenience to big-city amenities. It is positioned for future growth: its population of 26,100 is projected to more than double in the next eight to ten years. Apex is a small town ideally located in the southwestern corner of Wake County just a short drive from major shopping, business, entertainment, recreation and other big-city amenities.  

Morrisville  The Town of Morrisville consists of approximately 10 square miles in Wake and Durham Counties. Located adjacent to Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Research Triangle Park. The population of Morrisville continues to increase rapidly, from 251 in 1980 to 3,644 in 1999. Estimations show the population in 2002 to be around 10,000.  

Holly Springs  One of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, Population  9,192  

Fuquay Varina Fuquay-Varina is located in southern Wake County, about 18 miles south of Raleigh, the state capital and county seat.  It is situated at the southeastern tip of the Triangle Area. The latest population estimate is 9,863.
